Why attend the LfPL Symposium?

Symposium participants will be able to share innovations, research, and lessons from their experience, and seek support and solutions to challenges facing the field.

Am I the appropriate audience?

Do you have an interest in the education of adults and education professionals, such as PreK-12 educators, school or systems leaders, academics and researchers, education students, and policymakers or policy advocates, and other interested partners?

If so, then, yes! The symposiums are a meeting of the minds of all education stakeholders.

Who is the host organization?

With collaborative leadership, the symposiums are hosted by Dublin City University, University of Cambridge, University of Florida Lastinger Center, and Professional Development in Education.

The planning committee members are:

  • Ken Jones | Professional Development in Education
  • Fiona King | Dublin City University, Institute of Education
  • Carmen Montecinos | Lideres Educativos, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
  • Phil Poekert, Julie Henderson, Ryan Perez | University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning
  • Sue Swaffield | University of Cambridge, Leadership for Learning Network
